In Khajuria police station area, a Creta car rammed into a tractor trolley loaded with paddy parked on Bilaspur-Sheeshgarh road. In this accident, the car driver and his friend died on the spot. Police have sent the friend’s body for postmortem. The car driver’s family had refused this.

Gurpreet Singh (40) son of Balkar Singh, a resident of village Sujatganj Khaira, was going towards Sheeshgarh in his Creta car late Friday night. Rajveer (35) son of Bihari Lal, a resident of Gotiya village Mahatosh, was also in the car with him.
A car lost control and collided from behind with a tractor trolley loaded with paddy parked on the road near a weighbridge in village Ahar on Bilaspur-Sheeshgarh road. Both the youths died on the spot in this accident. The tractor driver fled after the incident.
Khajuria police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar reached the spot and took the damaged car and tractor into custody. With the help of villagers, the bodies of the two youths trapped in the car were taken out. Gurpreet’s family took the body home at night without post-mortem.
The police have sent Rajveer’s body to the district hospital for postmortem. Police station in-charge Rajeev Kumar says that no complaint has been received yet. The matter is being investigated. After receiving the complaint, a report will be filed and further action will be taken.
